Center position is always limited which is one reason most colleges play 4 out and 1 in motion offense now. I took Jan Maehlen off the rankings because he is living in Arizona now. It is a very short list now.
2010 Centers
1. Travis Carrol 6’8 Danville H- The big fundamental, range to 17 feet. Weakness=Athleticism and needs to grow to be a big contributor for Purdue. He can still help them at his current height, but if he grows he will be very good for them. Verbal commit to Purdue
2. Ethan Jacobs 7’0 Tipton H- Long (obviously), good shot to 17 feet, developing post game, big time potential. Weakness=Raw, not very aggressive. Verbal commit to Ohio University.
3. Parker Stauffer 6’6 Southwood L- Smart, tough, good motor. Weakness=height, not a great offensive skill set. Verbal commit to Indiana Wesleyan.
4. Enique Mason 6’7 Brownsburg L– Wide body, developing some offensive moves. Weakness=motor, skill set.
